Police destroy Maoists opium crop

 
 

Gaya, February 18 (ANI): Acting on a tip off, police officials on Thursday destroyed the standing opium crop, cultivated by Maoists in Gaya district of Bihar. Gaya is considered to be the hotbed of the rebels. Singh added that it is suspected that some locals extended support to the insurgents in opium farming.
