Political battle intensifies over Trivedi
New Delhi, March 15 (ANI): Senior Congress leader and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, while speaking in the Lok Sabha today, clarified that railway minister Dinesh Trivedi has not resigned. Speaking on similar lines, senior Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay said that party supremo Mamata Banerjee, in her letter to Prime Minister, did not ask for the removal of Trivedi. Stressing that the TMC was against the hike in rail price, Bandyopadhyay, however, added that the party would always support the UPA government.
