Pranab is too valuable to spare for presidency: Congress

New Delhi, May 03 (ANI): At the time when the name of Pranab Mukherjee is been floating for presidential nomination, Congress spokesperson Renuka Chaudhary has today said that the finance minister is too valuable to spare for presidency. Meanwhile, CPI (M) leader, Sitaram Yechury has said the Left party did not have an issue over Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee s name for the presidential candidate. Yechury, however, called for an all party consensus over the proposed names. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), General secretary D P Tripathi has said the party is trying to develop a consensous on the name of the new president.
