Kochi, November 28 (ANI): Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has exhorted Indian chartered accountants to practice the global accounting standards in a bid to promote investors' confidence because the use of globally accounting framework brings clarity and uniformity for financial statements users. While addressing the 42nd Southern India Regional Conference of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in Kochi yesterday, he said that the country had concluded tax information exchange agreements with eight countries and thus globally acceptable accounting standards was of great importance.
