Rahul slams Advani over corruption

 
 

Varanasi, February 06 (ANI): Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi today at a press conference in Varanasi targeted the BJP and its senior leader LK Advani over corruption. He said that when it was proposed in parliament to give Constitutional status to the Lokpal, the opposition laughed at it. He also slammed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati and Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav by saying that he has great respect for them but they have forgotten to listen to the people of the state. Rahul also said that he was not "obsessed" with becoming the Prime Minister but remained committed to transform Uttar Pradesh.
