Raja Parvez Ashraf to be next Pak PM

 
 

New Delhi, June 22 (ANI): The Pakistan People s Party has nominated Raja Parvez Ashraf as the prime ministerial nominee after a special anti narcotics court issued an arrest warrant against Makhdoom Shahbuddin on Thursday, whose name was proposed by the party earlier. Shahbuddin was accused for alleged irregularities in the import of a controlled drug during his tenure as Health Minister. The PPP was left with the option of fielding Ashraf or Qamar Zaman Kaira for the slot after his arrest.
