Siliguri runs for nature s cause

Siliguri, February 12 (ANI): Hundreds of activists, locals and athletes participated in a marathon aimed at promoting environmental awareness among masses in Siliguri today. The Organisers said that the objective of this run was to join hands with the local population to create awareness on the need to protect and preserve the state s environment with a message of clean and green Siliguri. Around 6000 people from all walks of life participated in the campaign and lauded the efforts of the organizers to preserve the environment.
