Sitapur/ Gonda, February 1 (ANI): With elections approaching near in Uttar Pradesh, the political parties have upped the pitch of their campaigning. Addressing a rally in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BSP supremo Mayawati accused the Central government of stalling various development projects in the state. On the other hand, addressing a rally in Gonda, Congress President Sonia Gandhi said that it was the Congress party only, which initiated significant development schemes like Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) and Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM).
