South Asia can be haven of peace: Chidambaram

New Delhi, December 1 (ANI): Union Home Minister P Chidambaram has said South Asia could become a haven of peace and progress, only if all countries learn to live together in harmony. Addressing the gathering on the 47th Raising Day of the Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday, Chidambaram said India wants to maintain cordial and friendly relations with all its neighbours. Meanwhile, applauding the achievements of BSF, Chidambaram urged the force to continue to upgrade their skills and tactics. The minister added that the government has also granted major proposals for strengthening the BSF.
