Tribals agitate against police atrocities on Soni Sori

 
 

New Delhi, October 14 (ANI): Chhattisgarh tribals on Thursday agitated against police atrocities on alleged Maoist symapthiser Soni Sori, who is on a hunger strike.Supporters demonstrated against the treatment meted out by police officials on Sori, since she was allegedly present when a contractor belonging to the Essar group in central India handed over the extortion money to Maoists. Earlier, a tribal journalist Lingaram Kodopi was arrested on the charges of illegal money transfer for Maoists.
