Tripura reports fresh bird flu outbreak
Agartala, February 19 (ANI): Health and veterinary workers culled more than 3000 poultry birds in Tripura on Friday after a fresh outbreak of H5N1 bird flu was reported. On advice of the central government, the state government called for the culling of the entire poultry within a radius of 3 kilometers from Government Duck Farm in capital Agartala. The ducks were culled after poultry samples collected from the farm tested positive for H5 strains of avian influenza.
