Greater Noida, October 7 (ANI): As F1 fever grips India, villagers in Greater Noida are planning to protest against the much hyped race alleging that they were not adequately compensated for their land, which was acquired for the circuit. Villagers add they were misled about the purpose of land acquisition and now they don't have an alternative job. Village schoolteacher Manoj Kumar is also not happy. Manoj added that the track had severed village links to the main roads, making commuting harder. However, representatives of the new circuit said that they had no direct dealing with the villagers as the F1 organisers had bought the land from the Uttar Pradesh state authorities.
