New Delhi, Oct 20 (ANI): In a major blow to Lt Gen (retd) Tejinder Singh, the CBI today registered an FIR against him on the basis of prima facie evidence gathered following former Army Chief, V K Singhs complaint that he was offered bribe to clear purchase of nearly 600 all terrain Tatra BEML trucks in September 2010. Earlier today the CBI carried out raids at five places including the premises of Tejinder Singh soon after registering the FIR under relevant sections of Prevention of Corruption Act. VK Singh had alleged that he was offered a bribe of Rs 14 crore, which he reported to Union Defence Minister, AK Antony, following which the CBI had initiated a preliminary enquiry in April earlier this year.
