Woman Maoist surrenders before police

Narayanpur, Aug 21 (ANI): Disillusioned by the system and violent practices of Maoists, a woman cadre surrendered before police at Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh. The young cadre named Ramdai, had joined hands with the rebels three years ago and was involved in several incidents of violence including a recent encounter with security forces. Singh further added that the rebel would be assisted by the state governments rehabilitation program.
