Honda NSX Price and variants
The model’s price is going to be affordable as it is going to be designed on the same platform as Brio and hence, less expensive. The cost will be around 12 lakhs, which is economical with respect to an SUV. While there are no style variants, it comes with two types of engines- petrol and diesel, with different capacities and technologies assigned to each of them.
The exterior design follows the famous design concept called exciting H design. It is the human centred design concept that has remained pivotal to Honda’s success. While mass production has not been ensued, the display of this concept can only hint at the fact that Honda is trying to extend its market and ties in India. It will be a compact SUV and hence, will be similar to that of Ecosport model of Ford or Renault Duster. 2016 may become the year the car hits the market and the Indian auto expo is eagerly waiting as there are no concrete news beyond the fact that the exterior will look like Brio, only much bigger in size. The sturdily built body is coupled some classic rear LEDs on the upper side and the alloy wheels provide fine aerodynamics. The front LED headlights come with a honeybee model and is an economic but stylish design as it follows its predecessors like Amaze and Brio.
Expected price view Rs. 12 Lakhs
The interior space is the most exciting thing about this car. As it is the entry of Honda as a maker of compact or sub-compact SUV in the country, it has caught attention of many. With the larger space provided by the car, the car may well have three rows of seats with ample amount of leg space. The instrument panel is minimalistic and the space has thus increased. Also, the roof lining is raised too, so that more head room space can provided. Also, windows are now enlarged to help the occupants enjoy a wider view of the area. In fact, while initially there was talk about five passengers being the maximum, now there are rumours of it being a seven-passenger SUV. It reflects the fine space management of the Honda design principle.
Features and specifications
While much has not been revealed about the features and specifications since the auto expo 2014, there have been strong speculations and some truth have come out of it. As the company is working on the design and features, it is likely to have an engine with fuel capacity of 1.5 litres and 1.2 litres. While the first one will be a diesel engine, the second one comes with petrol as the fuel alternative. The diesel engine will feature the i-DTEC technology while the petrol one will feature the already established i-VTEC technology. The diesel engine comes with a power rating of 100 HP while the petrol engine has 85 HP power rating. Once the model is revealed in 2016, the world will know more details about the car. Till then, car enthusiasts may have to be patient.
