Exterior
The Tata Vista D90 Xtreme is based on the same platform as the Indica Vista. However, the company has worked hard to give it the appearance of a true crossover and the car looks as if it is capable of easily tackling a variety of roads. The front fascia has intricately sculpted honeycomb grille and the large air dams. Elongated headlights complete the look. The bumpers have been revamped so that the suspension is now higher by almost 25 mm. the side profile gets a sporty look with the black side skirts and side air vents. The flared wheel arches housing 16 inch alloy wheels add to the dominating look. The car has been fitted with a Rough road package. This implies that it is ready to do some serious off road driving. The rear has the true look of a SUV. The spare wheel is mounted here and is hinged to the rear bumper. The car is available in only one color – gin metal yellow. Overall, the car appears dominating and masculine.
Interior
Very little information is available about the interior design of the car. The cabin is very spacious. Dual tone leather upholstery in black and yellow stitching is bound to catch the eye. There is plenty of headroom and thigh support in the car. The gear knob as well as the pedals are done up in aluminum while the door levers are finished in satin silver. This has created a nice contrast in the interior of the car.
Features and specifications
No details have been revealed about the features that Tata will provide in their first ever hatchback crossover. It will probably have all the standard safety and comfort equipments of the SUVs of this range as Tata plans to launch it as a rival to the Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport. Tata car lovers are eagerly waiting for updates on this upcoming crossover.
