Hero Hastur • Price, Variants & Specifications
Hero HasturRs. 5,00,000 – 7,80,000
Hero MotoCorp has surprised everyone with the wide range of models in the Auto Expo 2014. The biggest attraction among it was Hastur, the street fighter, jointly built with its partner EBR. It is expected to launch in India by November 2019.
Hastur surprised the onlookers with its attractive look; it is built on a striking yellow trellis steel tube chassis with aluminium sub frame. Twin projector beam headlamps with LED DRLs and LED tail lamps, ten spoke alloy wheels and TFT display make it stylish. The huge sculpted tank complements the minimalistic bodywork and blends with the seat.
Hastur is powered by four stroke, liquid cooled 620 cc parallel twin engine which could deliver 79bhp power and 72Nm torque. It is mated to six speed gear box. Inverted fork front suspension and adjustable mono shock in rear ensure stability and comfortable ride. Effective braking is provided by radial mount disc in front and single piston disc in rear.
Since the bike is locally produced we can expect it in a reasonable price, and it will be placed against Hyosung GT 650N and Ducati Monster 695 in the Indian market.
