Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX [2018 - 2020] • Price, Variants & Specifications


Ninja H2 SX is the machine that claims resemblance with the super bike H2. The H2 SX too has sharp-edged styling, four cylinder engine and superior riding comfort. It comes with a larger fairing than H2 has, which covers the engine. The rear too has undergone some changes to provide pillion comfort. Since, it is the tourer it has 19 litres of fuel storage capacity which is 2 more than the H2. The windscreen has more upright position for better wind flow. The clip-on handlebars are higher and the foot pegs have been pushed slightly forward for a comfortable riding pleasure. We have the LED headlights and instrument cluster as featured in H2. 

Kawasaki introduces the supercharged engine to the sport tourer with the new Ninja H2 SX. The street focused supercharged engine offer both power and fuel efficiency. As the engine looks the same on outside, it has a redesigned impeller and intake system; the piston, cylinder head, cylinder, crankshaft and camshafts are new. Along with these, new throttle bodies and new exhaust system are given. Kawasaki Traction Control (KTC) offers wide range of riding conditions, providing enhanced sport riding performance and extreme control over slippery condition. Kawasaki’s advanced modelling software is complemented by feedback from the IMU. Fully adjustable front and rear suspensions deliver a combination of ride comfort and sport performance ideal for street riding and touring. Being a sport tourer it doesn’t have a direct competitor in the Indian market.


The 998 cc, liquid cooled 4-stroke In-Line Four, DOHC, 16 valves, fuel injected engine produces maximum power of 200PS at 11,000 rpm and maximum torque of 137Nm at 9,500 rpm. It has 76 x 55mm Bore x Stroke and 11.2:1 compression ratio. It comes with digital electronic ignition; wet multi-disc clutch is mated to 6 speed transmission. Trellis, high-tensile steel frame, 43mm inverted fork with rebound and compression damping and spring preload adjustability and New Uni-Trak, gas-charged shock with piggyback reservoir, compression and rebound damping adjustability, remote spring preload adjuster provide stability and comfort both on road and on track as well.


Ninja H2 SX has front tyre measurement 120/70ZR17M/C (58W) and the rear tyre has measurement 190/55ZR17M/C (75W).


Dual semi-floating disc with 4-piston callipers in front and single disc with 2-piston callipers in rear ensure safety and it is enhanced with dual channel ABS.


Ninja H2 SX comes with digital ignition, LED headlamp, LED tail lamp and turn signal indicators are given.


Length: 2135mm, Width: 775mm, Height: 1205mm, Wheelbase: 1480mm and Ground Clearance: 130mm. It has 256kg of Kerb weight.
