Kawasaki NInja H2R • Price, Variants & Specifications
Kawasaki surprises the motorcycle world with its Ninja H2R, which is the most revolutionary machine on two wheels with its supercharged engine. Kawasaki launched this massive tracker on global platform two years back; in Indian market it remains as the unchallenging one. Ninja H2R is the track only version of the H2, the overall design differs from the H2 and it possesses a beasty look. Since it is track only, it doesn’t have headlamps, tail lamps, rear fender, mirrors etc. It has the same front fairing as we have in H2 and we get an air vent in the centre; the wing shaped panels, muscular fuel tank and the twin exhaust pipes make it aggressive.
Ninja H2R comes with an aerodynamically designed body work that suits the modern super bikes. Kawasaki gives a highly durable paint scheme to it; a special coat that allows scratches to repair themselves. Soft and hard segment in the coat work together like a chemical spring and absorbs the impacts. The riding position is designed for riding at ultra-high speed and circuit riding. It possesses the Kawasaki River Mark which usually uses on product that has historical significance. Kawasaki’s fully electronic throttle actuation system enables the ECU to control the volume of both fuel and air delivered to the engine. Ideal fuel injection and throttle valve position deliver smooth engine response. Single lubrication system provides cooling oil for the engine components, supercharged and transmission. In-house-designed supercharger, designed by Kawasaki’s own engineers offer fuel efficiency and better acceleration. Smooth, quick shifting is provided with Dog-ring transmission that is commonly found in MotoGp and Formula 1. All titanium exhaust system comes with simple design and premium performance. Ninja H2R is the first motorcycle with Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), which enable clutch less transmission. Kawasaki’s electronic steering damper combined with Ohlins, provide excellent control. Trellis frame and Ohlins TTX 36 rear suspension offer increased rear stability and riding comfort. Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF) monitors engine and chassis parameters throughout the cornering from entry, throughout the apex, to corner exit-modulating brake force and engine power to facilitate smooth transition. Bosch IMU allows an additional layer of precision to be added to the already high-level KTRC.
The 998 cc, liquid cooled, 4 stroke, In-Line Four with supercharger, DOHC, 16 valves fuel injected engine produces maximum power of 310PS at 14,000 rpm and maximum torque of 165Nm at 12,500 rpm. It has 76 x 55mm Bore x Stroke and 8.3:1 compression ratio. Trellis, high-tensile steel with Swing arm Mounting Plate, 43mm inverted fork with rebound and compression damping, spring preload adjustability and New Uni-Trak Ohlins TTX 36 gas charged shock with piggyback reservoir, preload adjustability provide stability and comfort on extreme racing conditions.
Ninja H2R has front tyre measurement 120/600 R17 and the rear tyre has 190/650 R17.
Dual Semi-floating Brembo discs Monobloc opposed 4-piston callipers in front and Single disc with Brembo opposed 2-piston callipers in rear ensure safety and it is enhanced with dual channel ABS.
Length: 2070mm, Width: 850mm, Height: 1160mm, Wheelbase: 1450mm and Ground Clearance: 130mm. Ninja H2R has 216kg of Kerb weight.
It contains 17 litres of fuel storage capacity.
Mirror Coated Matte Spark Black is the color for Ninja H2R.
