Suzuki RM Z250 • Price, Variants & Specifications
RM Z 250 is designed with innovative technology to race ahead and ride to win on muddy track and mountains. It claims standard equipment like Renthal Aluminum Fat bar, PSF2 Front Fork and Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control to suit the riding condition and race through. The Renthal aluminum fatbar offers more strength and less vibration than straight handlebars. The PSF2 front fork is lighter and adjustable than coil spring fork. It provides more stability. Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) is the launch selection system. It helps the rider to take the lead by choosing the best option from the two modes provided according to the condition. The aluminum rims are made to fit the racing environment, whatever be the event like supercross, motocross and off-roads. The gripper seat has projecting cross sharper pattern to provide extra grip.
The advanced battery less fuel injection (Fi ) system is used with unique capacitor assisted starting system and is powered by durable, light weight magneto- generator. The maintenance of fuel tank is made easy by providing a maintenance cap for the fuel pump and a plug for the fuel hose. The muffler body uses bolts in end cap instead of rivets to replace the glass wool packing easier.
Fuel setting is adjusted with two couplers, one is for rich and another is for lean fuel setting as per the condition. The piston and piston pin are developed using Finite Element Method (FEM) as per the feedback that Suzuki received. Piston has shot-peening surface treatment for durability and piston pin is DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coated for less friction.
The KYB rear shock comes with a new design. The nitrogen charged, piggyback style shock features a new-top mounted integral adjuster system for easy adjustment of high and low-speed rebound and high and low speed compression damping force adjuster.
The 249 cc, 4 stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled DOHC powers the RM Z 250’s performance. It has the Bore x Stroke 77.0 x 53.6mm with compression ratio 13.75:1. It has the 5 speed constant mesh transmission. It provides inverted telescopic air spring, oil damped suspension in front and link type, coil spring, oil damped suspension in rear for stability.
Both are tubeless tyres with measurements 80/100-21, 51M in front and 100/90-19 57M in rear. Both have disc brakes.
Electronic ignition (CDI) is offered with RM Z 250.
Length: 2170mm, Width: 830mm, Height: 1270mm, Wheelbase: 1475mm and Ground Clearance: 345mm. The Kerb weight of RM Z 250 is 106kg.
