This is one auspicious ceremony where the girl child (one who has not attained puberty) is given utmost importance as Hindus believes Goddess Durga lives within these innocent girls. A lot of patience, prayers, and preparations goes into making a simple fun loving girl into a Goddess. We have displayed the basic procedure, but there may be minor change in customs in each State of India and among various groups around India.
