February 29 : Actor and anchor Anup Soni said that Delhi Riots are unfortunate and sad incident, and we need to wake up and start using our common sense.

A series of riots and violent incidents began in the Jaffrabad area of North East Delhi in which 42 people were killed and more than 200 people were injured.

Talking about Delhi Riots on the sidelines of a social event, Anup Soni said, “The only thing I would say, see nothing, especially no religion ever preach to hurt or kill someone. It doesn’t preach that at all, it is that simple. I think a common man needs to use his brain a little bit. We have been saying this for years, that by killing someone or by hurting someone, it doesn’t solve our problems. It is a matter of common sense”

“I think the most important thing is humanity, it’s always been humanity and trust me it’s not going to die. I am sure, like the old saying goes, with only trouble one learns, so whatever happened in Delhi is unfortunate and I am deeply saddened by it, I am hurt by it” added Anup.

Anup Soni along with several popular celebrities graced the opening of Kushal Tandon's new restaurant. The list included popular names like Sidharth Shukla, Nikitin Dheer, Nia Sharma, Ravi Dubey, his wife Sargun Mehta among others.

Talking about Kushal turning into restaurateur, Anup said, “He has been thinking about doing something in hospitality or restaurant business, so finally I think he has done it.”
