April 08 : South Indian actress Kajal Aggarwal has always been happy to update her fans about her life, her job, and now about all that she does during the lockdown. For most Bollywood actresses, it would be fashion or workouts, but this beauty seems to give a lot of importance to good eating. Today, she posted a simple, yet healthy recipe of how people can make gluten-free carrot cake while sitting at home. You too can try it and enjoy the lockdown with such delicious memories.

Her recipe went like this:
11/2 cups almond flour
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground ginger (optional)
2 tbsp honey
1/8th cup coconut oil (ghee/ butter)
1.5 cups grated carrots
1/2 cup lightly toasted pecan nuts (or any nuts of your choice)
1 tbsp flax seeds (optional) 1/2 tsp orange rind (optional)
All the ingredients need a quick mix. Then the batter was poured into a baking pan and then was put to bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 mins. The actress was happy about the results, as she mentioned it was over within 15 minutes of baking. As per her suggestions, this gluten-free healthy cake can be served with a dollop of cream or ice cream. In this case, she went for banana and icecream.
