June 26 : While the stars of Bollywood wait for the situation to normalise so that they can go back to their shootings or gear up for the releases, we take a look at the impressive line-up of films each of our actors have in their pipelines.
After the debacle of Zero in 2018, Shah Rukh Khan will appear next in an immigration social drama by RajKumar Hirani. If reports are to be believed, shooting will begin by October 2020. Currently, the script is being written along with writers Kanika Dhillon and Abhijat Joshi.
Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in Nagraj Manjule’s biographical sports drama Jhund. The film deals with the story of Vijay Barse, who encouraged slum children to play soccer and avoid falling prey to bad habits.
Shahid Kapoor will be seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Jersey, the Bollywood remake of the Telugu sports drama, where he will be seen as a retired cricketer who returns to the pitch for his son. The film also features Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur.
Abhishek Bachchan has wrapped up the first shooting schedule of his upcoming film Bob Biswas, directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh and produced by Gauri Khan, Sujoy Ghosh and Gaurav Verma. Jr Bachchan will also be seen in Big Bull directed by Kookie Gulati and co-produced by Ajay Devgn. Abhishek also has Anurag Basu’s Ludo in the pipeline.
Ranbir Kapoor has a string of films in the pipeline. Besides Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, he will be seen in the Yash Raj film Shamshera, helmed by Karan Malhotra and starring Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. It is reported that Ranbir will play a dark role in Sandeep Vanga’s Devil. The actor also has Luv Ranjan's next opposite Shraddha Kapoor in the pipeline.
