July 04 : Vivo Y30 has been finally launched in India. The device went on sale on Friday on Flipkart and the company’s official site. With a quad-camera setup, this Chinese phone has a hole-punch display design and comes with a fingerprint scanner.

Price and offers

Vivo Y30 will be sold in India at Rs. 14,990 for the single 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The phone will be available in two colour options—Dazzle Blue and Emerald Black. Flipkart also offers 10 percent discount when bought with Axis Bank Buzz credit card, Rs. 30 off on first prepaid transaction using UPI, and Rs. 75 off on UPI transaction above Rs. 10,000. The online retail platform also offers 5% percent unlimited cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank credit card, and no-cost EMI of Rs. 1,250 per month.

Specifications

Vivo Y30 comes with dual-SIM (Nano) and runs on Android 10 with Funtouch OS on top. Powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) SoC and paired with 4GB of RAM, the smartphone has 6.47-inch HD+ (720 x 1560 pixels) LCD display. It also comes with 128GB internal storage, and can be expanded further up to 25GB using a dedicated microSD card slot.

The phone’s quad rear camera setup comprises a 13-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and two 2-megapixel depth shooters. In addition, it comes with an 8-megapixel camera sensor at the front. The handset sports a 5,000mAh battery.

Redmi 8 price increased in India

Redmi 8 has once again increased its price in India. Its 4G RAM with 64GB storage variant price has been hiked by Rs 300, and it now costs Rs 9,799. In May, the price of this model was increased by Rs 200. The model was initially launched at Rs 8,999. Xiaomi had also increased the price of Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Redmi 8A Dual a few weeks back.

Redmi 8 has a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor. Its 64GB of internal storage is expandable via microSD card.
