July 10 : Samsung India launched Galaxy Watch Active2 4G Aluminium edition on Thursday, adding to Samsung’s diverse 4G smartwatch range. With this launch, Samsung now has the largest and most diverse 4G watch portfolio in the country. This is Samsung’s first smartwatch to be manufactured in India. Samsung will manufacture the entire range of 18 smartwatches in India as part of ‘Make for India’ programme.

The smartwatch comprises nine colour finishes, three sizes (42mm, 44mm and 46mm) and two unique design templates—elegant classic of the Watch 4G and modern minimalistic of the Watch Active2. The Galaxy Watch Active2 is for the on-the-go consumers, enabling them to keep a track of their fitness goals as well as stay connected with the world, even without their smartphone.

Price and offers

Galaxy Watch Active2 4G Aluminium edition comes in three colour options—Cloud Silver, Aqua Black and Pink Gold. The smartwatch is priced at Rs. 28,490 and will be available starting July 11 across retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com and leading online portals. Buyers can avail 10% cashback and 6 months no-cost EMI offers valid till July 31, 2020.

Specifications

Galaxy Watch Active2 4G features 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display, which is round in shape, and has a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass DX+. The smartwatch has 1.5GB RAM, and 4GB internal storage, and its 340mAh battery can last up to 60 hours on daily usage.

The smartwatch enables you to tackle advanced workouts with real-time feedback and insightful result analysis. It comes with 39 workout trackers built-in, and many of them focus on indoor workouts. It features improved sleep analysis and stress algorithms, ensuring the user keeps stress levels in check.

Galaxy Watch Active2 4G comes with e-SIM connectivity to ensure the consumer to stay connected for calls, messages and notifications freely from the watch itself. Users can also access social media apps with just the tap of a finger.
