August 11 : Janmashtami, the day Lord Krishna was born, is being celebrated by many Bollywood actors. They took to their social media to share pictures of their celebrations and wished their fans on the occasion.

Amitabh Bachchan took to his Instagram handle and wished everyone on the occasion of Janmashtami. Sharing a picture of Lord Krishna, Big B wished his fans and loved ones on the special day.

Kangana Ranaut’s team shared a picture of the actress celebrating Janmashtami and stated how she feels about the festival. In the picture, we can see the Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi actress in a mandir sporting a simple white kurta set. Along with the picture, her team wrote, “They say how can an intellectual like me be a Bhakt? When I understood there are more galaxies in this universe than the amount of atoms on this planet, I decided I can only be a Fan/Devotee/Bhakt of this magic, every other belief is delusion / arrogance.”

Wishing her fans on the occasion of Janmashtami, Shilpa Shetty Kundra shared a video of the celebrations with her family last year. In the video, we can see the actress along with her mother and sister performing the Krishna abhishek at Iskcon temple.

Sidharth Malhotra shared a fun memory from his childhood, when his family celebrated Janmashtami. In the adorable picture, we can see tiny Sidharth dressed like little Lord Krishna, as the actor wrote, “...this year let’s all celebrate responsibly. Wishing for love, peace & harmony...Clearly my favourite Janmashtami picture.”

Neetu Kapoor wished all “Happy Janmashtami” and shared a Janmashtami clip from her yesteryear film with Jitendra on her Instagram handle.

Kajol also took to her Twitter handle had wished everybody “Happy Janmashtami”.
