September 16 : Karan Johar, who has been keeping away from social media ever since his name was dragged into the issue of ‘nepotism’ and ‘movie mafia’ after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, was spotted at Mumbai’s private airport as he was about to jet off to Goa for a family vacation, it is reported.
The filmmaker-producer, who is used to globe-trotting, has been spending the last six months at home with his mom Hiroo Johar and his twin kids Yash and Roohi due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Karan has also faced a lot of backlash and was dragged into a number of controversies including drug-related ones, ever since the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. He was trolled brutally by the late actor’s fans and was compelled to restrict comments on his social media. Since then, he has been maintaining a low profile.
After almost six months, Karan stepped out for a family vacation in Goa with Hiroo Johar, Yash and Roohi and some of his house staff members, a DNA report suggests. This time the filmmaker did not pose for the paparazzi at Mumbai's private airport, and was seen rushing towards the airport. However, he was seen wearing a face mask with a quirky message—‘If you're reading this, you're too close’. He also ensured that his kids, mom and the others who were with him, were all wearing face masks.
