September 18 : Launched earlier this month, the sale of Samsung Galaxy M51 will start for the first time in India today. The smartphone from the Galaxy M series comes in two colour options—Celestial Black and Electric Blue, and can be purchased via Amazon, Samsung.com, and some select retail stores across the country.
The Galaxy M51 looks almost identical to the Galaxy M31s and Galaxy A51, which are quite popular in the market. The shape and aesthetics of the Galaxy M51 are nothing new with curved edges and plastic body. However, it looks impressive with its super-slim bezels and the rectangular rear camera module on the top left.

Samsung Galaxy M51 comes in two variants. The 6GB RAM variant of the handset costs Rs. 24,999 while the 8GB RAM option is priced at Rs. 26,999.
Samsung offers Rs. 2,000 discount if the phone is purchase via Amazon using an HDFC Bank credit or debit card. Amazon also offers no-cost EMI options for six months and up to Rs. 18,000 off in exchange of an old smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 is the first in the Galaxy M series to come with One UI Core. Samsung Galaxy M51 also boasts of its powerful 7,000mAh battery.
While the dual-SIM (Nano) Samsung Galaxy M51 runs on Android 10-based One UI Core 2.1, the handset features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display, along with 20:9 aspect ratio. Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, the phone is teamed with up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage that can be expanded up to 512GB using microSD.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 features a quad rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary Sony IMX682 sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. It also has a 32-megapixel camera sensor at the front for selfies.
The large 7,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging is the USP of the phone. There is also reverse charging option with a USB Type-C-to-Type-C cable that comes with the phone.
