September 21 : After a residential building collapsed in Bhiwandi early this morning, Kangana Ranaut was quick to dig at the Maharashtra government yet once again. Taking to her Twitter handle, the Panga actress said that if the state government wasn’t “obsessed” with her, then they would know how the entire state is collapsing.
The actress tweeted, “Meanwhile Maharashtra government क-क-क-क-कंगना ….. if they stop being obsessed with me they will know how the entire state is collapsing.” The actress tweeted in response to a tweet that read, “Painful scenes! Happens when Maharastra govt has only the time to dismantle @KanganaTeam’s office!”
Kangana has been in a war of words with the Maharashtra government and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, which led to a demolition drive by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The corporation brought down portions of Kangana’s Bandra office while the actress was in Manali. While the BMC said in its notice that it was “illegal alterations”, the Queen actress claimed that she had all necessary approvals. Consequently, Kangana moved the court and claimed Rs 2 crore for the damages.
It is reported that the multi-story residential building at Bhiwandi, which was badly damaged and was due for repairs, collapsed today, killing at least eight people and injuring many. While many are feared trapped in the debris, rescue workers are on the site trying to bring out people who got trapped in the rubble.
Meanwhile, Kangana has never left an opportunity to slam the Maharashtra government, starting from the state government’s handling of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. She also compared Mumbai with Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, and voiced her opinions on everything targeting the Uddhav Thackeray-led government.
