September 22 : Poco X3, the successor to the Poco X2, was launched in India today at a virtual event that was live-streamed on the company’s social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Poco X3 will go on sale in the country via Flipkart starting September 29, 12 pm (noon).
Poco X3 comes in three RAM and storage variants—6GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. It also has two colour options—Cobalt Blue and Shadow Grey.
The screen size of Poco X3 remains the same as Poco X2 that was launched in February this year. However, Poco X3 has a DynamicSwitch 120Hz refresh rate which will switch refresh rates and conserve battery. The phone offers a higher-touch sampling rate of 240Hz for the gamers.
The Poco X3 base model of 6GB with 64GB storage comes at a price of Rs. 16,999 while the 6GB with 128GB storage model costs Rs. 18,499. The top-tier model of 8GB with 128GB storage comes with a price tag of Rs. 19,999.
The Poco X3 features Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor along with Adreno 618 GPU, with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It already has 128GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The phone runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. Flaunting a 6.67-inch full-HD+ with 1,080 x 2,340 pixels display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, the phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The Poco X3 comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor, a 13-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. There is also a 20-megapixel sensor on the front housed in the hole-punch cut out. The Poco X3 boasts of its 6,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
