September 25 : In a new development, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh expressed his frustration due to the delay by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in taking a decision in Sushant’s death case. Singh claimed that the actor’s death was due to strangulation and is not a case of suicide.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Singh wrote that a doctor from the AIIMS team that is examining the cause of Sushant’s death had told him long back that the photos of the dead body sent by him certainly indicate that it is death by strangulation.

Vikas Singh’s tweet read, “Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to Murder of SSR. The Doctor who is part of AIIMS team had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200% that it’s death by strangulation and not suicide.”

Recently, the meeting between the AIIMS forensic team and the CBI team was postponed due to unknown reasons.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sudhir Gupta, the forensic team head of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), reacting to Vikas Singh’s claim told Times Now, “No conclusion or conclusion opinion of homicide or suicide could be made by seeing ligature marks and scene of occurrence. It’s difficult for doctors and next to impossible for general people, needed solely internal link discretion and forensic interpretation.”

Dr. Sudhir Gupta said that just by seeing the ligature marks on Sushant's neck they cannot claim that it was due to suicide or murder. He further added that investigation is going on and they need more evidence to come to a conclusion.

Supporting Vikas Singh’s claim, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti retweeted his post and wrote, “We have been so patient for so long! How long will it take to find the truth? #SSRDeathCase”

Meanwhile, the AIIMS medical board will share with the CBI its final conclusion on the case by next week. The team is studying the reports of the CFSL and the CBI SIT. After getting AIIMS report, CBI will decide upon its next course of action.
