September 25 : The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today conducted a raid at filmmaker Karan Johar's aide Kshitij Ravi Prasad’s Versova residence and picked him up for investigation after the agency seized drugs from the Dharma Productions’ executive producer and director’s residence.

According to reports, NCB seized marijuana and weed from Kshitij's residence. Reports also suggest that the NCB has confirmed that Kshitij bought huge amounts of drugs regularly. A Republic TV report states that NCB officials confirmed that the Dharma Productions executive producer will be taken into custody after his interrogation. Earlier, Kshitij was summoned by the NCB to appear for questioning today. He landed in Mumbai from Delhi today, and hours later his house was raided by the NCB officials.

Drug peddler Ankush Arneja, who is currently in NCB’s custody, had revealed Kshitij’s name and confessed that Prasad procured drugs from him several times.

Today, NCB officials conducted raids at Andheri, Oshiwara and Powai in Mumbai. The NCB team was informed by the arrested drug peddlers about a long list of Bollywood actors and associates who had procured drugs from them.

The NCB had also raided actor-choreographer couple Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar’s residence on Thursday and reportedly found marijuana at their residence. They were taken for questioning and a case has been registered against Sanam and Abigail for drug consumption under Section 20 of NDPS.
