September 26 : The makers of The Big Bull are all set to resume work on the final leg of the shooting from mid-October. It is reported that the makers of the film will go a step ahead to ensure safety at the set and appoint COVID watchdogs. The biographical crime flick is directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit, Vikrant Sharma, and Kumar Mangat Pathak.
While Abhishek Bachchan, who plays the role of the stockbroker Harshad Mehta, was down after he was found COVID-19 positive, has now fully recovered from the virus, and ready to resume shooting. The film also features Nikita Dutta and Ileana D'Cruz in supporting roles. The film will stream worldwide on Disney+Hotstar.
According to a Mid-Day report, producer Anand Pandit is taking all possible steps to ensure a safe working environment for the cast and crew. Pandit has decided to appoint COVID-19 watchdogs on the set. “We cannot afford even a minor slip when it comes to guarding ourselves against the virus. At no point will the safety of my unit take a backseat during the shoot,” he told Mid-Day. Anand will appoint a group of medical experts, who will be present throughout the shoot and monitor the sets to ensure that all necessary safety norms have been followed. There will also be medical assistance on the sets, he added. The set will have sanitisation tunnels besides all government regulations will be followed while filming.
