October 01 : Motorola Razr 5G, which was recently launched in the US, will be unveiled in India on October 5, the company confirmed via its Motorola India Twitter account. The smartphone comes with support for 5G and will be available on Flipkart, which is the official online partner for Motorola. The phone is already up for pre-registrations via Motorola.in. The smartphone is the successor to last year's Motorola Razr foldable phone.
In India, Motorola Razr 5G is expected to carry a price tag around the same range as it is priced in the US. There it was launched at $1,399.99 (around Rs. 1.03 lakh) for the single 8GB with 256GB storage variant.
Specifications and features
Motorola Razr 5G comes in three colour options—Blush Gold, Polished Graphite, and Liquid Mercury. The main display is a 6.2-inch OLED flexible screen with 2,142 x 876 pixels and with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The secondary display is 2.7-inch with 600 x 800 pixels glass OLED screen with 4:3 aspect ratio. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC and an Adreno 620 GPU and teamed with 8GB RAM, the foldable phone runs on Android 10 with My UX on top. Motorola Razr 5G comes packed with 256GB of inbuilt storage.
While the foldable handset features a 48-mgeapixel primary shooter, it also has a 20-megapixel camera for selfies. The camera supports a number of interesting features such as portrait mode, night vision mode, auto HDR, EIS, slow-motion videos, pro mode, laser autofocus, hyper-lapse videos, and Quad Pixel technology for better low-light sensitivity.
The smartphone comes packed with a 2,800mAh battery and can support 15W TurboPower fast charging. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
