October 28 : Lara Dutta celebrates 20 Years of winning Miss Universe title and shares a beautiful and heartfelt note on her social media profile.

Walking down the memory lane, actor and former Miss Universe Lara Dutta Bhupathi share her experience post winning the Miss Universe 2000 title.

Lara took to her social media and shared a collage when she returned to Bangalore after winning the Miss Universe pageant. She captioned it, “"Year 2000. My home town of Bengaluru came out in full force to give me the biggest, grandest welcome I have ever experienced!! The Miss Universe officials who had accompanied me on this trip were overwhelmed”

"They had never experienced such large numbers of people!! I still meet adults who were kids then, who had been a part of this parade, who say it was an unforgettable expnce! Was for me too!!. @missuniverse #20years #bengaluru #memories #imyindia," she added.

Lara Dutta Bhupathi was the second Indian to win the Miss Universe Title after Sushmita Sen who became the first one to bring the title to India in 1994.

Meanwhile on the work front, Lara will next be seen in Bell Bottom, also starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi.

The forthcoming spy thriller is directed by Ranjit M Tewari. The film is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Sheikh, with production by Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment.

The film is scheduled to be released on 2 April 2021.
