November 27 : Nushrratt Bharuccha has started shooting for her upcoming horror film Chhorii in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. The shooting kicked off at Pipariya in Hoshangabad district after the mauhurat puja was performed by the cast and crew members.
Abundantia Entertainment and Crypt TV’s joint venture Chhorii was announced in May this year. T-series has also joined hands with them.
Taking to her Instagram handle, the Chhlaang actress shared a bunch of pictures from the shoot location. In the first picture, Nushrratt is seen with the clapboard while in another picture, the actress is seen sitting at the mauhurat puja. She is surrounded by the crew members, who are all wearing PPEs and masks.
Nushrratt expressed her excitement about the film and wrote, “Onto new beginnings, this time for #Chhorii (#छोरी). Excited, nervous & charged up for this one! @furia_vishal cannot wait to create magic with you! The team will shoot across the state in a start-to-finish schedule. The unit will film all through December across Madhya Pradesh, particularly in dense sugarcane fields and remote villages. A massive set has also been created for typical village dwellings. The film’s final schedule will be shot in Mumbai.
Chhorii is a horror film with a strong social message. The film boasts of a strong ensemble, with actors like Mita Vasisht, Rajesh Jais and Saurabh Goyal, roped in to play pivotal roles. The film is helmed by Vishal Furia, whose debut Marathi film Lapachappi bagged several domestic and international awards.
Abundantia Entertainment has ensured that all health and safety measures are in place to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 at the live locations. All cast and crew members are stationed together in a bubble, and all quarantine measures are being followed.
