November 27 : SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited period drama, RRR, starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, is getting richer and richer. After two Bollywood stars, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, joined the team, it is now reported that Aamir Khan has been brought onboard for voice-over throughout the film. This will give the film a pan-Indian touch, and is also expected that the Bollywood stars will draw audiences in the Hindi belt.
Since 2018, RRR has been making the headlines as one of the biggest projects and people have been eagerly waiting for the film to release. While the film starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles has been in the making for over a year now, it had resumed shoot in Hyderabad in October this month after almost seven months. The makers of the film had decided to complete the remaining 25% of the film during the two-month long shoot schedule without any break. Jr NTR and Ram Charan had joined the shoot in October.
According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Aamir Khan has verbally agreed to do the voice-over to narrate the era and also introduce audiences to the world of Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. Aamir’s voice will be used in the trailer as well.
Aamir Khan has been keen to make Mahabharata since the last 10 years. The actor has been in talks with SS Rajamouli and his father KV Vijayendra Prasad to develop a screenplay for the epic, the report stated. Now collaborating with SS Rajamouli for a voice-over is seen as a step forward towards the Mahabharata project.
RRR (Roudram Ranam Rudhiram) is a Telugu film. The big-budget film, written by Rajamouli, is a fictional story about India's freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against the British and the Nizam of Hyderabad, respectively.
