A Call To Spy is set at a time when WWII had started. When Britain become desperate, Churchill ordered to form a new spy agency SOE, wherein women were trained as spies. These women spies had a daunting mission—to sabotage and build a resistance. SOE recruited two unusual candidates—Virginia Hall (played by Thomas), who is an ambitious American with a wooden leg, and Noor Inayat Khan (played by Radhika), a Muslim pacifist. These two women along with SOE’s ‘spymistress’ Vera Atkins (played by Stana Katic) help to undermine the Nazi regime in France.
