December 14 : Priyanka Chopra has always been a trendsetter. The diva may not be seen too much in India, but her OOTDs have always given out major fashion goals across the globe. While we are nearing to bid adieu to 2020, we look back to see how the fashionista had carefully curated her wardrobe that reflected her refreshing style statement. While 2020 did not fare well for the entire world, and the fashion and film world suffered alike, the global icon had still managed to showcase some of her drool-worthy ensembles.
The Sky is Pink actress began 2020 with her stylish and memorable look at the pre-Grammys party in an elegant pink off-shoulder gown. PeeCee set temperatures soaring in the halter-neck dress. Styled by Mimi Cutrell, the satin gown was a creation of Nicolas Jebran. The backless gown featured interesting details at the waist. The sultry ensemble also had a slit from the waist down and had a short train at the back.
This December, the Baywatch star made her virtual debut as the British Fashion Council’s new Ambassador for Positive Change at the digitally held Fashion Awards 2020. The actress made her power-pact debut in a white pantsuit with enhanced black shoulders and a plunging neckline. The attire was customised by London-based designer Kaushik Velendra. Shelling out boss lady vibes, PeeCee rounded off her look with a glittering hand accessory, diamond studs and styled her hair in a neat bun.
The Bajirao Mastani actress once again grabbed attention by donning a statement lace ensemble with a pair of embellished Crocs, drawing blurring line between high fashion and comfort. Priyanka, the global brand ambassador for Crocs, can make even Crocs look high end with the right combination. The Quantico star attended a virtual event of Crocs looking absolutely stunning in a gorgeous black Emilia Wickstead lace dress that featured a plunging neckline and dramatic cape sleeves. She teamed the sheer lace dress with a black bodysuit, and completed her look with a pair of high fashion BVLgari drop earrings. What grabbed the attention was the chunky, black Crocs embellished shoes with diamonds.
As effortlessly she pulls off gowns and minis, she nails traditional Indian looks with the same élan. The Quantico star loves to dress herself in the six yard, and on the traditional Karva Chauth festival of 2020, her second one, she opted for a bright red saree by Monica and Karishma that featured ruffle detailing. The diva ringed in Diwali 2020 in a striking floral Sabyasachi number.
