January 13 : Rakul Preet Singh has resumed the shoot of her upcoming film MayDay. Recently, she shared a video from the sets and expressed her happiness to return to work. Today, the De De Pyaar De actress shared another video on her Instagram handle, where the actress can be seen cycling.
Wearing a maroon hoodie and a helmet, the actress is seen cycling to the sets of MayDay. A car can also be seen going along with her, and most probably the video has been shot by someone inside the car. By cycling 12 km to the set, Rakul seems to manage her time as she gets to exercise while cycling to work. “Welll what m trying to say here is cycling on way to set...time management.. 12kms #mayday #workouten @eas.india,” the Marjaavaan actress wrote.
Rakul Preet was tested positive for coronavirus while she was shooting for MayDay in Hyderabad. Taking to Twitter, the actress had informed that she had tested positive for COVID-19, and had quarantined herself immediately.
The shoot of MayDay had started on December 11. A directorial venture of Ajay Devgn, MayDay is an internationally recognised term for a distress signal used by pilots and sailors in case of a life-threatening emergency. Ajay will also bankroll the edge-of-the-seat human drama.
The MayDay team plans to shoot the whole of January. The film is a thrilling aerial drama, which will be shot indoors with a lot of visual effects. Rakul will reunite with Ajay, who was her co-star in De De Pyaar De. She plays the role of a pilot in MayDay. Ajay will also reunite with Amitabh Bachchan after their last film Satyagraha in 2013. After the Hyderabad schedule, the team will shoot in Mumbai when Big B will join it.
Besides May Day, Rakul has several interesting projects up her sleeves. While she will be seen with Rajkummar Rao in Shimla Mirchi, she has Attack alongside John Abraham. The actress also has an untitled film with Arjun Kapoor.
