January 13 : While the country celebrates the winter folk festival Lohri, Kangana Ranaut took to her social media accounts and wished her fans Happy Lohri. The actress makes it a point to wish her fans on all occasions.
The Panga actress took to her Twitter handle and shared a series of her childhood photos along with a note on how she had sung Lohri songs as a kid in Himachal. With her post, the actress also said that children from joint families have more fun than those from nuclear families in cities.
In the pictures, a little Kangana can be seen in a purple salwar suit with her hair tied in two ponytails. “In Himachal, we have a tradition of singing Lohri, when I was small, children made groups and sang Lohri in neighbourhoods and collected money/sweets, children in villages and joint families have much more fun than city kids in nuclear families, anyway #happylohri2021,” the Queen actress wrote.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana has recently wrapped the shooting of her upcoming film Thalaivi, a biopic on former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa. Directed by A L Vijay, the film has been simultaneously shot in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
Soon after wrapping Thalaivi, Kangana kickstarted shooting for her next film Dhaakad in Bhopal. Directed by Razneesh Ghai, the film is written by Chintan Gandhi and Rinish Ravindra. The action thriller is jointly produced by Asylum Films and Sohel Maklai Productions and co-produced by Qyuki Digital Media. Recently, Kangana had also hosted a brunch for the Dhaakad team to ring in the New Year.
Kangana also has Tejas in her kitty, where she plays the role of an Indian Air Force pilot.
