January 21 : Known for making hard-hitting realistic cinema, Madhur Bhandarkar announces his next film based on Covid-19 pandemic. The film is titled India Lockdown, the first look and cast details are out!
Madhur Bhandarar directorial India Lockdown will star Prateik Babbar, Sai Tamhankar, Shweta Basu Prasad, Aahana Kumra, Prakash Belawadi and Zarin Shihab.

The shoot will start next week. Inspired by true events, India Lockdown is produced by Bhandarkar Entertainment and PJ Motion Pictures.

National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar will return to direction after Indu Sarkar, which released in 2017. A period political thriller film, starring Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Nitanshi Goel and Supriya Vinod.
The film chronicled the struggle of masses during the period of emergency in India, i.e. the 19-month-long period from 1975 to 1977 when there was a state of emergency across the country.
