February 17 : While Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s fans are eagerly waiting to get the first look of the actors in Siddharth Anand’s Pathan, the makers, it seems, are waiting for the right time to come out with a special teaser to announce the film.
While Pathan is an important film for Shah Rukh as it can be taken as his comeback film after a gap of two years, the makers reportedly plan to come with his first look with a special motion teaser to give the audiences a feel of what is in store for them.
With the aim to make the film even more special, the makers have roped in Salman Khan for a special cameo. Salman will appear in the film in his Tiger character. He will have an extended cameo of about 25 minutes and will shoot for a period of 15 days. Salman will join the team this month.
Pathan will also be special on another front, as it will be the first Bollywood film to be shot in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. Salman Khan will shoot with Shah Rukh, Deepika and John Abraham at the top of Burj Khalifa. The makers are also reportedly planning an elaborate climax scene on a larger scale which has not been seen in Bollywood action films before.
Meanwhile, after wrapping up the first Mumbai schedule, Shah Rukh, Deepika and John were supposed to start shooting in the Middle East. The highlight of the spy thriller will be its action scenes featuring the three lead actors, and many of these scenes will be shot in the coming schedule. Reportedly, King Khan is currently shooting at YRF studio in Mumbai and filming a large-scale action scene.
While Shah Rukh and Deepika will feature as RAW agents in Pathan, Dimple Kapadia will play the role of the head of the department. John will play the antagonist in the film. Pathan is gearing up for a Diwali release and an official announcement is expected in March.
