April 10 : Deepika Padukone knows how to constantly keep the limelight on herself, and in the process treat her fans with interesting posts on social media. Be it announcing new films or launching her new website, the actress is always at it, and on days when there is no news, she drops an interest random picture or a video and keeps the interest level of her fans high.
On one such day, when the actress is confined to her home due to the weekend lockdown in Mumbai, she shared an adorable throwback picture from her childhood. The Chhapaak actress took to her Instagram handle a little while ago and shared a cute picture of her childhood, clicked by mom Padukone. In the picture a cute baby Deepika can be seen in winter clothes and a woollen cap, sucking her thumb, while looking at the camera and smiling away. The actress has given a funny caption to it and made the post more interesting. “Indiranagar ki gundi hoon main! Photo: MamaPadukone,” the actress wrote.
In just a few minutes, the post not only went viral with more than 4 lakh likes but fans also showered love on the loveable post.
Deepika recently launched her new website and has been promoting it actively on social media. “The website contains elements that are an extension of my personality,” the 35-year-old-actress said about her website. The biography section of the website is full of good words shared by the celebs of Bollywood—from filmmaker Farah Khan’s heartfelt note to her director of 83, Kabir Khan’s. Her “proud” husband Ranveer Singh also wrote a note stating how Deepika is born for “greatness”. “A woman so righteous and full of virtue, that she commands respect. I sometimes stop and admire her, aware that she is a special soul, born for greatness. I am the proudest husband in the world,” Ranveer wrote.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will be next seen in Kabir Khan’s 83. She also has Fighter, Baiju Bawra, Sanki, Pathan, and Hindi adaptation of The Intern in the pipeline. Recently, the actress completed shooting for Shakun Batra's upcoming film along with Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
