April 12 : Abhishek Bachchan is currently promoting his new film The Big Bull, which released on an OTT platform recently. On Sunday, the actor spent time replying to several Twitter comments about The Big Bull. While the Manmarziyan actor replied mostly to positive messages on Twitter, he also replied to a Twitter user who was disappointed with the film.
Abhishek is known for his witty comments and replies on Twitter as well as reacting to negative comments with grace and elegance. On Sunday, a Twitter user wrote that he found The Big Bull to be a “disappointment”, and wrote that the film's script failed to capture Abhishek’s true potential.
The Twitter user wrote, “What a disappointment from @juniorbachchan this #TheBigBull turned out to be! After a fine performance in #BreatheIntoTheShadows was hoping for an even better one here ... when will these writers come up with more scripts that’d showcase his true potential?”
Abhishek very gracefully replied to the tweet when he wrote, “Will work harder. Thank you for watching.” The Twitter user who turned out to be the actor’s fan, immediately replied back. “No AB, I watch everything u do. And I know this for sure... what u can do, very few can. Who else could have portrayed Sarkar, Yuva, Guru (just to name a few) the way u did? But some scripts are letting u down. Will eagerly wait for the next one like always.”
Another fan wrote, “It's not your fault. Coz we all have a bad habit of comparison. May be if big bull had been made first all would have loved it. Just like Guru. Actors too have limitations when script and direction is bad. Ppl should realise that it's not just actor behind a good movie.
Written and directed by Kookie Gulati, and produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit, Vikrant Sharma and Kumar Mangat Pathak, The Big Bull stars Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. It also stars Nikita Dutta, Ileana D'Cruz, Sohum Shah, Ram Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla. The film started streaming worldwide on April 8, 2021 on Disney+Hotstar.
