April 21 : Arjun Rampal had tested COVID-19 positive and today is his fifth day of self-quarantining at home. While in isolation, the actor is trying his hands on some creative work and bringing out the artistic side of himself.
Taking to his Instagram handle, the Om Shanti Om actor shared a couple of pictures of himself painting with watercolours on a canvas. “Trying something new... quarantined #quaratinelife #Day4,” the actor wrote in his caption.
While fans wished him good health and dropped fire emojis on the comment section, one fan was curious to know who was clicking his pictures as he was in isolation. “Who clicked,” she commented on his post. Rampal was also quick to reply. “@sumana_datta me on timer, discovering many new ways,” Arjun wrote.
On Saturday, Rampal informed on social media that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and has home quarantined himself. In a statement shared on his Instagram handle, Arjun wrote, “...Even though I am asymptomatic, I have isolated myself and am home-quarantined.” The actor further added, “This is a very scary time for us but if we are aware and wise for a short span of time, it will yield long-term benefits. Together we can and we will fight corona.”
Earlier, on the second day of quarantine, Arjun shared a couple of pictures on Instagram, wherein he was seen reading a book. He captioned it as, “Day 2 #quarantinelife #books #thoughts #contemplate #write #gettoknowme All of you out there stay smart, stay safe.”
Meanwhile, Neil Nitin Mukesh and some members of his family have also tested positive for COVID-19 and are currently under home quarantine. “We are all home quarantined, following the essential protocols and taking medication as prescribed by our doctors,” the actor wrote.
Actor Sameera Reddy also tested COVID-19 positive on Saturday along with her husband Akshai Varde and kids Hans and Nyra. “...We will be in home quarantine and will continue to be our positive upbeat selves,” she wrote on an Instagram note.
