April 22 : Arjun Rampal, who had revealed last week that he had contacted the coronavirus, today shared on his Instagram profile that he has tested negative for COVID-19.
Sharing a selfie on social media, Arjun informed his fans and followers that he did two COVID-19 tests and both reports showed negative. He also informed that his doctors were of the opinion that he recovered so fast because he had taken his first dose of the vaccine, which makes the viral load very low. He also requested his fans and followers to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
“My prayers for all those suffering and families for their losses. Feel truly blessed to have two tests both Negative. God has been kind. One of the main reasons I am told by doctors I recovered so fast, was because I had taken my first dose of the vaccine, thus making the viral load very low, with no symptoms,” the actor wrote.
He further added, “I would urge everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible and continue to take all safety measures. Thank you all for your love and best wishes. Stay positive and don’t become positive. Stay safe be smart. This too shall pass. Love and light #recovered.”
The actor shared on April 18 that he tested positive for the novel coronavirus and was under home quarantine. His post on social media read, “I have tested for COVID-19. Even though I am asymptomatic, I have isolated myself and home quarantined... This is a very scary time for us but if we are aware and wise for a short span of time, it will yield long term benefits. Together, we can and we will fight Corona!”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun was last seen in Nail Polish. He has recently wrapped up shooting for Aparna Sen’s The Rapist. The film also stars Konkona Sen Sharma. Arjun will be also seen in Dhaakad with Kangana Ranaut.
