May 04 : Despite the country reeling under the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, Salman Khan has decided to release his forthcoming film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai in the theatres as he had promised his fans to release his film on the occasion of Eid 2021. Since the announcement was made that the film will release in theatres as well as on other platforms like ZEE5 and on pay-per-view platform ZEE Plex simultaneously on the same day, fans are highly excited and eagerly waiting for its release.
Today, the Salman Khan and Disha Patani starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, which is slated to release on May 13, received the go ahead certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film has successfully passed through CBFC and bagged an UA certification from the board. What is more delightful for the makers is that the film did not get any cuts.
While the trailer of the film has been received overwhelmingly, and its songs have also been liked, the film’s advance bookings have already started in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Recently, Salman Khan wrote on Twitter handle, “#Radhe ki advance bookings ho gayi hain shuru for the UAE. Milte hain theatres mein. Stay safe!”
Interestingly, Radhe will be one of Salman Khan’s shortest films with just 114 minutes long, that is, less than 2 hours. Most of the actor’s films in the recent past were quite lengthy. His films Marigold in 2007 and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna in 2009 were also short like Radhe.
Announcing the hybrid release system, a new concept in India, Salman Khan Films has said that the production house will support the theatres and distributors in following all government guidelines and safety measures, but will also see to it that audiences enjoy the film in the comfort of their homes during the lockdown.
Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is helmed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Atul Agnihotri. It is a remake of 2017 Korean film The Outlaws, and also stars Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff.
