May 04 : Kangana Ranaut, whose Twitter account was “permanently suspended” today for derogatory posts, took to her Instagram profile and responded in a statement. Reacting strongly to the Twitter move, the Queen actress said that she has other platforms where she can voice her opinions, and accused the social media platform for showcasing the point that they are “entitled to enslave a brown person” by suspending her account.

Taking to her Instagram story, the Judgemental Hai Kya actress accused Twitter of race bias. “Twitter has only proved my point they are Americans and by birth, a white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person, they want to tell you what to think, speak or do. Fortunately I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice including my own art in the form of cinema but my heart goes out to the people of this nation who have been tortured, enslaved and censored for thousands of years and still their is no end to the suffering,” she wrote. The actress also wrote on Instagram that “multiple FIRs” have been filed against her in Bengal since yesterday.

This morning, Kangana’s Twitter account has been permanently suspended after the actress shared a controversial tweet related to the post-election result of violence in West Bengal. Twitter said that the actress repeatedly violated Twitter policy with “hateful conduct and abusive behavior”.
In the tweet in question, the actress urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to "tame" Mamata Banerjee using his "Virat Roop". The Bollywood actor compared West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to an unleashed monster following violence in Bengal. She also asked Narendra Modi to show his “Virat roop” from early 2000’s. In her Tweet, she wrote, “This is horrible…we need super gundai to kill gundai…she is like an unleashed monster, to tame her Modi ji please show your Virat roop from early 2000’s.”
